My Background

As a United States Marine, I continue to live by the Marine Corps values of honor, courage, and commitment.  I serve my clients every day based on the Marine Corps motto, "Semper Fidelis", Latin for "Always Fatihful".

Today, as a New York Life Agent, I sincerely believe that most people want to do what's right: right for themselves, right for their families, and right for their communities. In fact, that's one of the reasons I joined the company back in 2008. After 7 years working as a police officer, I wanted the opportunity to continue to serve people and work somewhere that made it easy for other people to do what was right, and more importantly, made it easy for me to do right by them.  Today, while I work with many types of clients, I specialize in retirement planning for veterans and veteran business owners and their families.   

You can take comfort in the fact that I have been a proud resident of the North Metro Denver community for 16 years, and therefore have a vested interest in seeing my friends and neighbors succeed. As a loving father of a 14 year old daughter, I have many of the same hopes and aspirations as my clients and am happy to share with you all the resources and information New York Life has to offer.

In addition to my 14 years of experience, I hold a BS from Colorado State University and have participated in New York Life's well-known training program, NYLIC University, and have been awarded NYL Executive Council qualifications1  9 times and 5 time qualifer of the industries MDRT membership2 .  I also served 3 years on New York Life's leadership team recruitng and training our future team of New York Life Agents.

Of course, my background isn't really the one that matters. To be the best possible agent, I've found that getting to know my clients – their hopes, dreams and goals for the future – is the most important first step.
